Perfect weather for the 28th Annual LJFA created the perfect scene for visitors to enjoy fine art, excellent music, delicious cuisine, beverages and desserts. With fine art on display & jazz on the main stage, one couldn’t help but have a great time. There was delicious wood fired pizza, trip tip sandwiches, churros, cookies, fine wine and craft beer. A shout out to another winner, The Cheese Shoppe by Whole Foods – the newest addition to the LJFA.
Council President Pro Tem Sherri Lightner joined the fun on the main stage with the reading of the City’s proclamation of June 21 and 22, 2014, to be “28th Annual La Jolla Festival of the Arts Days” in the city of San Diego. She then stayed to help present a $50,000 check to the City’s Disabled Services and the Mission Bay Aquatic Center Adaptive Water Sports program on behalf of the Torrey Pines Kiwanis Foundation.
